M1 Speed Shop's inaugural Top 10 list

We are all getting the itch to break out the classic car and get cruising this spring.  We are kicking off M1SpeedShop.com with a breakdown of the Top 10 all-time classic cars that ever cruised down Woodward avenue.  Whether you grew up in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's or 00's - we all have our favorites.  Without further adieu, we present M1SpeedShop.com's Top 10 list:

#10 - 1978 Pontiac Trans Am

Who wouldn't want to burn some rubber out on Woodward Ave. with this classic from Smokey and the Bandit!

#9 - 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

Although convertible weather only lasts for about a week in Michigan (we're kidding!), we all would love to get behind the wheel of this Ford classic and let the wind blow threw our hair!

#8 - 1959 Pontiac Bonneville

What's better than two fins...well quadruple fins of course!

#7 - 1966 Cadillac deVille 2 door Hardtop

Nobody could argue with the luxury of a mid-60's Cadillac - power windows and A/C. What a breakthrough!

#6 - 1987 Ford Mustang GT 5.0

Throw on your best pair of acid washed jeans, feather your hair, grab your girl, crank up some Def Leppard and blow the doors off every Camaro that dares to race you!

#5 - 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

Speaking of Camaro's the 1968 Chevy Camaro Z/28 in Black with dual white racing stripes is one of the original drag car kings of the strip.

#4 - 1963 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

From Jefferson to the loop in Pontiac, a 1963 Chevy Impala SS convertible is the ultimate low-rider for cruising Woodward.

#3 - 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible

Well that is until someone pulls up in a 66' Continental with white guts.  Throw some rims on this sweet Lincoln and every head will be turning.

#2 - 1969 Pontiac GTO

The jury is out on this one, but "The Judge" comes in 2nd place on our Top 10 list. Even though the Judge and it's 370HP V8 rarely came in 2nd to anyone drag racing down Woodward.

#1 - 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray

This is the view a lot of people saw, the rear end and the split window on this beauty. With a new design and improved handling, there weren't many cars on Woodward in 1963 that could take on the Sting Ray.
